With the objective of rallying and sustaining the momentum for the revision of Ghana’s Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC), CUTS International, Accra in partnership with the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) held a stakeholder engagement with Transport Unions & Associations, and other key road safety stakeholders.
In attendance were officials from Ghana National Road Safety Authority, Ministry of Transport, the Motor Traffic and Transport Division of the Ghana Police Service (MTTD), Driver Vehicle Licenses Authority (DVLA), Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), National Sand and Stone Tipper-Truck Drivers Association, Ride Hailing Companies (Uber, Yango, Bolt), Ghana Motor-cycle Riders Association, towing companies, Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS), the media and other private transport operators
